- Summary
- From the same author of "The Burning of Berlin" and "Let Me Go Mother" (Adelphi). Against the backdrop of book burnings, degenerate art, the rejection of every form of expression not adhering to the values of the Aryan people, and the first raids on gay clubs, in a dark climate of growing homophobic persecution, love is born between two boys, Julian and Nesti. This union will be the test for a father who, by adhering to the new regime, will not be able to accept his son's homosexual orientation at first, but will then change his mind and will fight with all means for his son's salvation. The author mixes richly documented historical facts and narrative fiction, testifying to today's world the many facets of yesterday's Nazi homophobia.
