- A dramatic account by a man who has been associated with the Nazi Auschwitz-Birkenau camp for over 50 years. Kazmierz Smolen̋ was Auschwitz prisoner No. 1327 for four and a half years. After the war he was a staff member and long-time director of the "Kl Auschwitz" Museum. He is the world's foremost authority on German concentration camps and was the crown witness in Nazi war crimes trials.
