    Summary
    Varian Fry (1907-1967) was an American humanitarian who worked to save endangered refugees in Marseille, France, during World War II. The Varian Fry Foundation, located in Menlo Park, California, provides information about the life and accomplishments of Fry, who helped save thousands of Jews, among them many of the important writers and artists of the 20th century. Includes a comprehensive links page, bibliography, and national calendar of events related to Varian Fry.
