Overview
- Summary
- Shortly after Kristallnacht in November of 1938, the British House of Commons authorized the entry of children to Great Britain as transmigrants. Almost 10,000 Jewish children from Austria, Germany and Czechoslovakia were saved from almost certain death in what became known as the Kindertransport. Filmmaker Hilary Gatoff traces the lives of some of these children from traumatic childhood to successful adulthood.
