- Summary
- Chronicles the life journey of Kurt Gerron, a Jewish entertainer, who opened the cabaret Karussell in the Theresienstadt death camp. Gerron was forced to direct a propaganda film for the Nazis (Der Führer schenkt den Juden eine Stadt) which was shown to the International Red Cross to demonstrate the treatment of Jews in Theresienstadt. Gerron died at Auschwitz in 1944.
