- Summary
- The filmmakers accompany a group of German Roma and Sinti, including some survivors of the camp, who visit Auschwitz in Oct. 1985. In addition to recording their observations and experiences, the film also examines the role of Dr. Robert Ritter's race hygiene research in the Nazi persecution and destruction of the Romanies, and the continued persecution of Romanies after the war.
