- Through the use of photographs, animation, and interview, Mary Kocol is able to capture her father, Romvald Kocol, telling his life story. Her father talks of the effects of World War II upon his family in Poland, of his own internment in a German forced labor camp (1942-1945), and his solo emigration to New York in 1949.
