- Tank moving across field. LS, pan, inmates women standing around moat/reservoir, women fishing out tin buckets for washing; two boys sharing soup, stand huddled together, intent on soup. Low to ground, MLS, several clothed corpses, lots of inmates walk by corpse, possibly a murdered Nazi in civilian clothes (original shot sheet captions do not suggest or confirm this). CU corpse. WS of camp with many inmates. Emaciated man, "practically a skeleton", with a cap crouches, holding a piece of clothing. LS, bodies all over (clothed), survivors at edges in BG; LS, barracks, road outside, views of the camp from a tower. MS, survivors, walk by camera, half curious, grimaces. British soldiers come in on jeep/trucks, inmates stand at edge of road, some wave to soldiers passing by; shot of women and others sitting on a mound, lie on ground, hobble past, boy with a cross painted on the back of his jacket looks over his shoulder at the camera. Crowd with soldiers, nurses, people standing around a water cart with men of 249 Battery, Oxford Yeomanry, 63 Anti-Tank Regiment, R.A., keeping order. Lying on the ground a man drinks from a bowl. LS, barracks, field. LS, mounds of naked corpses. Slow pan, LS, MS, naked bodies (long segment) crumpled skeletons, CU. Brief LS, huge hole dug in ground with dead bodies in it, hole not filled, civilians stand at edge of pit.
