Film Provenance
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum purchased this film from the National Center for Jewish Film (NCJF) in June 1992. The film was transferred at John E. Allen, Inc. in New Jersey. NCJF acquired the Warsaw Ghetto reels from the DDR archive (now subsumed by the Bundesarchiv in Berlin, Germany).

This footage was brought from the DDR by R. Raack. It appears to be a compilation of shots from various sources. The duplicate negative was poorly made (Warsaw Ghetto NR1); some shots were reversed. John E. Allen changed position of reel each time.

Burn-in time codes appears on Betacam SP version (Protection copy) as well as the VHS. NCJF can make their one-inch version available on a loan basis.
