    Description
    (LIB 6264) Jewish Atrocity Camp, Landsberg, Germany, April 30, 1945. MSs, CUs, emaciated bodies of murdered Jews lying on the ground. Long pan, camp area showing guard towers, barracks building and barbed wire fence. MSs, CUs, other bodies of victims in woods.

    (LIB 6285) German Surrender Delegation, Haar, Germany, May 5, 1945. INTs, surrender conference. Gen Jacob L. Devers, CG, Sixth US Army Group says, "This is an unconditional surrender," while seated at table with German and US officers. US Generals included in delegation are: Lt Gen Alexander M. Patch; Lt Gen Wade H. Haislip; Maj Gen John W. O'Daniel; Brig Gen Reuben E. Jenkins; Brig Gen William S. Ott; Brig Gen Pearson Menoher. German delegation includes: Lt Gen Foertsch, CG, 1st German Army; Col Zolling; Maj Forker; Maj Coelle; Maj Murray; Capt Bearendt; Capt Cartellieri; 1st Lt von Weber.

MSs, CUs, British civilians digging in ruins of buildings wrecked by V-2 bomb. MS, portrait of Queen Victoria on wall of wrecked building. CUs, British civilians buying British and US flags. MSs, various buildings draped with flags. INTs, church services attended by US soldiers and Canadian WACs. MS, US soldier climbs fence to put helmet on statue.
