    Description
    (LIB 7013) UNRRA at Displaced Persons Camp, Wetzlar, Germany, June 14-15, 1945. LSs, MSs, male displaced persons doing calisthenics and drilling under direction of UNRRA worker. MS, children enter bus for tour of local area. Girls wave as bus pulls away. MLS, men and women in uniform standing in front of doors labelled "Headquarters DET DP 46". CU, group of men and women. CU, another group of men and women. (Good image quality/camera work). MS, two men in uniform get inside UNRRA convertible. Seq: Children in playground with adult displaced persons directing their games under supervision of a UNRRA welfare woman. MSs, CU, children receiving food. MS, mechanic at work in motor pool. MS, CU, truck carrying fresh vegetables arrives at camp and is unloaded. MS, CU, displaced persons prepare vegetables and cook soup in kitchen. LS, MSs, UNRRA director checks new arrivals and inspects billet set up in former garage. Many people milling around. MLS, small boys and girls stand facing camera and teacher at blackboard, drawing house on board. INTs, men around bunks; one repairing shoes as others watch, another has mandolin, playing cards. UNRRA official checks mattress. LS, large number of children grouped together out on lawn in front of blackboard. LS, MS, INT of ward hospital. Doctor checks condition of patients.
