Gerhardt crosses the bridge. Shows aerial views of the wrecked city. The 102nd Division liberates US prisoners at Erkelenz. Undelivered Red Cross packages are found. The 1st Army battles toward Cologne; the 83d Division takes Neusse. Generals Eisenhower, Simpson, and McLain visit 9th Army lines. 08:36:23 "India-Burma - Activities in Burma" Japanese mines are removed in Burma.
