- 1125 I: The Zionist Congress meets in Tel Aviv to render homage to its president Chaim Weizmann and his laboratory in Rehovot on December 24, 1944. Several hundred delegates representing different Jewish districts in Palestine participate. EXT shots of the cinema where Congress held. Sign reads, "Jane Eyre." Tickets checked. Crowded room of smartly dressed people. Dr. Weizmann makes his way to an armchair, shaking hands. Ben Gurion, president of the Jewish Agency, speaking. 05:02:45 Dr. Weizmann speaks with Israeli flag behind him. People listening. Clapping. Crowd listening. Ben Gurion speaking again, people listening. 05:04:45 Dr. Weizmann enters meeting room with table, giving a seat to Yehoshua Supraski, member of the Presidium. Weizmann addresses members at the meeting, clapping, various CUs, including Ben Gurion.
1125 L: 05:06:46 Military sitting in rows outdoors, column of military officials, priests walking in a procession. 05:08:09 Priest giving speech during a religious ceremony (Easter?), crowd, military band. Villagers watching from city hills, city walls. Priests leave in procession. People on top of walls applaud. Road with motorbikes passing. Man in uniform gets out of car, salutes, enters building, insepcting machine with water, equipment. Military officials talking about equipment. Spectators applaud outside building as men leave. - Film Title
