"Stefania Dolinska" identification card
Identity card or "Legitymacja" issued to Polish woman named Romana Kolpewicz, or "Stefania Dolinska," an assumed name under which Mrs. Koplewicz was supplied with false papers by Polish-Christian friends. Romana Koplewicz worked in Warsaw, as a non-Jew, surviving the Holocaust.

The collection consists of a metal box carried by Joseph Koplowicz and an identity card belonging to Romana Koplowicz.
Metal box made by Joseph Koplewicz in Poland in a slave labor camp, and carried close to his body throughout the Holocaust. The box was engraved by Binem Grunstein, during the time period of the Holocaust, with camp names and dates. Mr. Grunstein survived and resided in Australia. He passed away in 2013.
