Consists of approximately ten letters, postcards, and envelopes, written in 1942 and 1946-1948, by a Jewish soldier stationed in Italy, who went to Israel and participated in the War of Independence.

Consists of two letters and two small cards (perhaps inserted into letters) written by Moritz Eldodt of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in May 1938. The letters were written to family in Brooklyn, NY, and in Palestine.
Photograph album of Jews in Chile

Consists of one black photograph album with pasted photos of Jewish residents of the "Hagshara Kidma" in Chile. The album, which is dated 1945-1947, depict residents of the farm doing chores and participating in other aspects of communal life. The album includes a final postcard depicting some of the residents leaving for Palestine by airplane. Also includes a handwritten work schedule for the farm dated November 27, 1946.

Consists of pre-war portraits and candid photographs of individuals in Germany and Poland, some with handwritten messages on the verso. The donor believes it is likely the individuals depicted were later interned in the Warsaw ghetto.

Consists of a copy of a book entitled "We Jewish Refugees in Italy: Enquiry Results, February 1946," published by the Organization of Jewish Refugees in Italy, Central Committee" in 1946, based on a survey of more than 12,000 Jewish refugees in post-war Italy. The text includes information about individual experiences, charts, and survey results.
Photograph album depicting refugee children in post-war Switzerland

Consists of one brown photograph album depicting life in an unknown refugee home for children in Switzerland, circa 1945-1947. The album documents their education and recreational activities, as well as the preparations, ceremony, and departure of members of the group for Palestine. One of the pages includes a small leather badge with Hebrew lettering.
