Contains photographs, documents and writings concerning the pre-war life of Margot Graetz in Hamburg, Germany. Includes photographs of Margot and schoolmates on field trips in Kellenhusen in 1933; at birthday parties; and participating in the Bar Kochba Jewish sports organization. Also includes documents issued to Margot, including a participation card in Macabee games in Berlin in 1936; a recommendation from a former employer; a type-written poem; and certificate of completion of hand work, or seamstress course, dated circa 1931-1937, prior to her 1937 immigration to the United States.

Documents, publications, newspapers, etc. illustrating Alfred Heinemann's (donor's father) school experiences at numerous German universities while he pursued and completed a medical degree and fellowships at Friedrich Wilhelm, Ruprecht Karl, Ludwig Maximillian universities and residencies at the Berlin Jewish Hospital. Also included are recommendations and confirmations that he was employed as a physician between 1933-1938 in Germany and also includes employment in the United States after his immigration. German newspapers and publications are also included.
