- Interview Summary
- Consists of one audio CD containing an oral history interview, 32 minutes, with Robert (Bob) O. Cleary, originally of Cleveland, OH, conducted by the Veterans History Project. In the interview, Mr. Cleary describes his experience during World War II, including his memory of the first hours after the liberation of the Ohrdruf concentration camp (Mr. Cleary was the first liberator of the camp), and his memory of the end of the war, including an encounter with Jacques Cousteau. He was a highly decorated officer.
