- Contains photographs depicting Esther and Isidore Stiel [donor’s parents] before the war, with their firstborn son Jacques during the war, and after the war with Raffie [donor]. Also contains a copy of a letter written by a nun in the convent where Raffie was hidden, to reassure his mother that he is well, dated September 29, 1943; a testimony given by Esther Wolf (Stiel) regarding her and her husband’s contacts with Weinreb; postwar Red Cross tracing correspondence regarding relatives who perished in Holocaust, and the trial protocol of Frijdrijk Weinreb, dated November 1947. Isidore Stiel perished in Dachau.
