    Overview

    Description
Contains records generated in the Reichsprotektorat Böhmen und Mähren (Reich Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia) by the German occupiers and by dependent Czech agencies dealing with “internal security” and “racial policy.” It also contains case files from the Comité d'Assistance aux Réfugiés (Committee for Refugee Assistance) in Paris, 1933-1940 (probably captured there, taken to Germany, and evacuated to the Protectorate), including cases for refugees from Czechoslovakia, Austria, and other countries. Many documents derive from puppet ministries and agencies, including materials on deportations, the destruction of a Jewish cemetery, the treatment of Roma, and other matters.
