The collection traces the looting of Jewish diamond traders, organized and centralized through the so-called Devisenschütz-Kommando, which ultimately expropriated property worth an estimated 72 million Belgian francs. - USHMM will not give, transfer or sell a copy of those collections to third institutions without prior permission by the director of the Archives generales du Royaume. No publication on Internet or equivalent without express permission of source archive. Third parties are on notice (and the Museum must make reasonable efforts to notify them) that they are under the same obligation, and also that they must obtain written consent of the source archive before using copies for commercial purposes and are liable to payment of license fees to source archive in such case.
