Jehiel Weinberg letter

Consists of one letter, written by Rabbi Dr. Jehiel Weinberg, undated but ca. 1946, to Dr. Marcus Cohen in Basel, Switzerland. In the letter, Rabbi Weinberg, the pre-war principal of the Hildesheimer Seminary in Berlin, writes about the wartime loss of his private library and asks his friend whether the Joint Distribution Committee might be able to assist him in acquiring some Jewish books recovered from Nazi plunder.
