Handmade crocheted tablecloth wih a floral motif owned by a Slovakian Jewish girl

Crocheted tablecloth owned by Gabriella Mueller. Gabriella and her family, parents Irena and Ignác, and brothers Erich and Tibor were sent from their home in Slovakia to the Theresienstadt ghetto and concentration camp. Ignac was deported to Buchenwald concentration camp in Weimar, Germany, where he was presumed to have been killed in March 1945. Erich perished while doing slave labor. Ten year old Gabriella, Irena, and one year old Tibor were liberated in Terezin by Soviet forces in May 1945.
