Sara Bak was a survivor of the Riga-Kaiserwald concentration camp in the Soviet Union (now Latvia). After liberation she traveled to Riga, Latvia, and was transferred to the DP camp in Speyer, Germany. Sara Bak married Meilech Ring in 1950, and the couple welcomed their first child on 29 Sept.1950. Sara along with her husband and child immigrated to the United States in Nov. 1951.
