Author describes his experiences as a sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division, detailing his early life, training in the Army, landing in France, and operations in 1944-1945 through France, into Germany (Aachen, Ruhr region) up to Ludwigslust, including liberation of Woebbelin concentration camp.
