- Source of acquisition is the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki, Greece (Israēlitikē Koinotēs Thessalonikēs). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collections Division, Archives branch received the collection in July 1997 via Heinz Kounio, Chairman of the Thessalonika Jewish Community, who discovered the records in Athens, Greece.
