Robert H. Harlan diary

Robert H. Harlan was an American exchange student at the University of Marburg in Germany during 1938. His diary was written between 1938 and 1939, and includes his impressions of the treatment of Jews during Kristallnacht. Also included are a piece of paper written on the train from Marburg to Wuerzburg immediately after Kristallnacht; an unpublished memoir, entitled “Two of a Kind: Germany 1938;” and a copy of a color photograph of Robert Harlan, Frida Stern, and Bruno Stern in Pennsylvania, April 1946.
