Consists of the typescript of"The Relief of Belsen Concentration Camp: Recollections & Reflections of a British Army Doctor" written by Major General James Alexander Deans Johnston, ca.1970. The typescript includes information on conditions at Bergen-Belsen under Nazi control and during liberation, as well as description of medical measures taken by the British for the benefit of former inmates of the camp. Also included is a photocopy of a photograph of James Johnston and a retype of his obituary from"The Daily Telegraph."
