- The Amsterdam City Council created the documents during the Holocaust years. At some time after the Holocaust, the Amsterdam City Archives obtained the documents and placed them in record groups 5181 and 5174 of that archive. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the photocopies of the documents via Hetty Berg of the Joods Historisch Museum in Amsterdam in May 1991.
