    Description
    The letter primarily regards Isidor Fell's survival of Theresienstadt, the loss of family members transported to the East, and the state of knowledge of other survivors. The letter was written at Theresienstadt shortly after his liberation on 31 May 1945.

    The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1992 in memory of Ada C. Hecht and Maximilian M. Hecht, parents of the donor, Manfred H. Hecht, who were deported from Theresienstadt to Auschwitz in Oct. 1944 and perished there soon thereafter.
