- The original ticket was created by the United States Lines Company. Hermann Ende, an unidentified passenger, purchased the ticket on 07 May 1946. The donor gave the carbon "specimen copy" of the document to Jeshajahu Weinberg, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Museum Director, and he passed the document on to the Archives ca. Feb. 1992.
