- Original materials were created by two sources; "The Day," a Jewish newspaper printed in New York, and the Nazi government, which issued the death certificate. Photocopies of the materials arrived at USHMMA in Jun. 1992 in an interdepartmental envelope with no indication of the envelope's sender or the origin of the enclosed items.
