Consists of copies of several articles published ca. 1983 concerning the liberation of Landsberg, Hurlach, and other camps in the area of Dachau concentration camp. The articles describe the conditions in Landsberg and other Dachau sub-camps at the time of liberation, lists statistics for Jews killed in the Dachau camps, and quotes the eyewitness accounts of American liberators present at the Landsberg liberation.

The articles were published in the"Hellcat News" of the 12th U.S. Armored Division in ca. 1983. The exact date of publication is not given. The copies were donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives by Edward Golden, a veteran of the 12th US Armored Division, in Oct. 1987 via Dr. Barbara Abromowitz of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council Campaign to Remember.
