    Description
    Contains newspapers, bulletins, periodicals, reports, leaflets, radio announcements, essays, clandestine underground publications, and various other documents relating to the activities of the anti-Nazi underground movement in Poland during the German occupation from 1939 to 1945. The materials relate to underground and partisan group activities, persecution and extermination of Polish Jews, activities of communists, situations on the war front, and situations in the Jewish ghettos and concentration camps throughout Poland. A significant portion of the collection is made up of photocopies of documents from the Antyk Archiv.

    System of Arrangement
    The system of arrangement of the source repository has been preserved in the microfilmed reels. Arrangement is chronological. Files are organized as follow: Reel 1: file 1 - 26; Reel 2: file 27 - 56; Reel 3: file 57 - 105; Reel 4: file 106 - 120; Reel 5: file 121 - 148; Reel 6: file 149 - 175; and Reel 7: file 176 - 214.

    Source of acquisition is the Żydowski Instytut Historyczny im. Emanuela Ringelbluma (ŻIH), Sygn. 230. ŻIH collected and compiled the newspapers, bulletins, and other documents from the Akcja Antyk (Akcja Antykomunistyczna) and various other sources and placed them in Syg. 230. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives acquired copies of the microfilm in 1996.
