    Description
    The papers consist of official documents, correspondence, and passports relating to Berthold and Else Sinai Fred Ward Sinay's parents and their experiences fleeing from Nazi-occupied Austria and their subsequent emigration to the United States. Included in the collection are reissuances of birth certificates, German "Deutsches Reich" passports issued under Nazi occupation, and a postcard from Berthold in Dachau concentration camp to Else in Vienna, Austria.
