Collection Summary
Consists of documents and objects relating to Jakob Dymant (donor's husband) and his experiences while traveling and working in Lithuania, India and Japan. The collection consists of one decorative Polish seal, one match case, two cigarette cases, one suitcase, two souvenir stamp books, one dictironary, and thirteen documents. Includes a transit visa endorsed and issued by Jan Zwartendijk and Sugihara Chiune in Kaunas (Kovno), Lithuania.
Provenance
The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum by Zofia Dymant in 2001.
