This collection contains selected German Federal Archives (Bundesarchiv) records from the office of Einsatzstab Reichsleiter Rosenberg (ERR), which concerned itself with the training, political education, and motivation of Nazi Party members. The collection includes staff personnel forms; correspondence from the ERR’s cultural-political archives; and records of the Science Office and the Music Office. Also included is material pertaining to the creation of a “Jews in Music” dictionary.

Original records, NS 15 are located in the Bundesarchiv, Berlin. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Archives Project exchanged the microfilms from the Yad Vashem Archives in Jerusalem, Israel. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilms in June 2002.

Restrictions on access. To access Bundesarchiv collections researchers must fill out a "Request for Access to Bundesarchiv Documents." German and English-language copies of the "Law on the Preservation and Use of Federal Archival Documents" are available at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives reference desk. The requirement was stipulated by the Bundesarchiv in the cooperative agreement signed with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
