- Brief Narrative
- 10 reichspfennig [empire penny] coin, with 100 reichspfennig equalling 1 reichsmark, issued for use by the government of the Third Reich, Nazi Germany. From 1940-May 1945, when Germany surrendered, ending World War II in Europe, the coin was struck in zInc as a cost saving measure for the war, in all seven of the Reich mints.

- Circular zinc (est.) coin, blackened with corrosion, with a plain edge and raised rim. It is embossed on the front with the Nazi symbol of a right facing eagle holding an enwreathed swastika, and the year. Embossed on the back is the denomination 10 with the mint mark A below, flanked by oak leaves, with German text around the top inner rim.

Nazi Germany, 2 reichsmark coin with a portrait of Paul von Hindenburg
Object
2 reichsmark coin issued for use by the government of the Third Reich, Nazi Germany. It has a relief portrait bust of former Reich President Paul von Hindenburg (1847-1934) who appointed Hitler as Chancellor of Germany in January 1933. As Field Marshal and Commander of German forces during World War I, Hindenburg became immensely popular throughout the country. He was elected president in 1925 and reelected in 1932.
