- Frank Morgens (Mieczyslaw Morgenstern) donated these photographs to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on Jan. 3, 1997. They were found in his apartment in Łódź after the liberation, presumably left by a German soldier who was billeted in the apartment. Sylvia Karchmar completed the paperwork for her father, the late Frank Morgens.
