Description: Consists of two photographs: one of a family photograph taken at the golden anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Mór Krausz, the donor's maternal grandparents, on 8 May 1933, in Sárbogárd, Fejér County, Hungary; another of a group of people, including Mrs. Dezsö Dóczi (nee. Erzsébet Singer), the mother of the donor's late husband, taken between Apr.-Jul. 1944, in Pécs, Baranya County, Hungary. In this photograph, some people are wearing Jewish stars. Mrs. Dezsö Dóczi perished in Auschwitz.

Provenance: Mrs. Sándor Dóczi (nee. Suzan(Zsuzsa) Dévai (Deutsch)) donated this collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on Nov. 11, 2000, through her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ferenc Katona. Mr. Ferenc Katona is an archivist with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
