Henry Politzer papers
The Henry Politzer colllection consists of vintage copies of documents issued before the war to Ottilie Politzer Gessler, Henry Politzer's mother. The documents include a letter sent from Cardinal Innitzer congratulating Ottilie Politzer on having been awarded the Silver Distinguished Service Cross; dated August 10, 1935; Kranichberg, Austria; in German. Letter sent to Ottilie Politzer informing her that she had been awarded tax free title of Government Social Welfare Counselor; May 24, 1930; in German. Certificate awarding the Austrian Silver Distinguished Service Medal; July 19, 1935; Vienna, Austria.

The papers consist of a passport ("Reisepass") issued to Siegfried Politzer donor's father in Vienna, Austria; a birth certificate and a marriage certificate re-issued to Siegfried Politzer with the addition of the middle name "Israel;" and two letters regarding the ownership of assets forcibly relinquished in 1938 by Siegfried Politzer.
