Wool blanket or "cergi" typical of Maramures region, formerly Transylvania composed of dark brown and light brown stripes. Blankets were taken to Auschwitz with Abraham Weissner (donor's wife's grandfather) and his daughter Gizela Naday. Abraham died of starvation in Auschwitz and Gizela took both blankets to an airplane factory in Mittelstein and to Weisswasser where she was liberated. She returned to Baia Mare after the war. The shorter blanket belonged to Abraham
