    Overview

    Description
The envelope bears notes written by the Trudy Vinke Verloop during the summer of 1944 regarding the ring given to her by a Dutch policeman. Additional notes were written by her mother. The envelope bears clues as to the location of the policeman's family and a message to be relayed to his family. A translation of that message reads: "Everything O.K., keep courage. Kiss from your father."
