    Interview Summary
    Consists of the transcript of an oral history interview with Ruth Magid, conducted in 1992 by Daniela Schmidt. Mrs. Magid was the child of a Jewish father and Christian mother, and spent the war in Berlin, Germany. She was arrested in 1943 and taken to the Rosenstrasse, where she was held until she could prove that she lived with a non-Jewish parent. This interview was used in the documentary film, "Rosenstrasse."
