Biography: Miecyzslaw Librach was born in Łódź, Poland. In December 1939 he fled Poland for France where he joined the Polish Army in exile. In May 1940 he was taken as a POW along with Polish and French soldiers. A few months later the Jewish soldiers were separated from others and placed in another POW camp.
