    The collection consists of 14 photographs depicting Mieczyslaw Librach [donor] in Stalag XVII B, a prisoner of war camp in Traunstein, Germany.

    Biography
    Miecyzslaw Librach was born in Łódź, Poland. In December 1939 he fled Poland for France where he joined the Polish Army in exile. In May 1940 he was taken as a POW along with Polish and French soldiers. A few months later the Jewish soldiers were separated from others and placed in another POW camp.
