    Provenance
    The photographs were taken by an unknown photographer and were found among the possessions owned by the Bowman family from Carlisle, Pa. They were purchased at an estate auction by a friend of Letty C. Fernandez in Oct. or Nov. 1991, near Harrisburg, Pa. The friend gave them to Letty C. Fernandez in Nov. 1991. Letty C. Fernandez donated the collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1991.
