    The collection consists of images of the liquidation and destruction of the ghetto in Kaunas (Kovno), Lithuania, as well as a photograph of a group of Jews, including Lucy Cess [donor] and her mother, who survived the destruction of the ghetto by hiding in an underground bunker.
