The Dvorah Rabinowitz collection consists of 92 black and white photographs relating to the Rabinowitz family and the Jawerbaum family in Poland prior to World War II and in the Hasenhecke DP camp in Germany after the war. The collection also includes documents pertaining to the Rabinowtiz family's stay in the DP camp in Germany.

The papers consist of a manuscript written by Minia Rabinowicz [donor's mother] in which she describes her escape from Mie̜dzyrzec Podlaski, Poland, and her future husband's escape from Warsaw, Poland, in September 1939, their stay in Brzesc (Brest), Belarus, and subsequent events. The papers also contain a notification of change of address of the Jawerbaum and Rabinowicz families dated August 28, 1941.
