Overview

Description: Consists of the English translation of one manuscript, 121 pages, entitled "Da Fossoli a Mauthausen," originally by Don Sante Bartolai (Msgr. Samuel Bartolai), an American-born Roman Catholic priest and survivor of the Mauthausen concentration camp. In the memoir, Father Bartolai recalls his arrest and imprisonment in the Modena, Italy, prison in March 1944, his transfer to the Fossoli di Carpi concentration camp, and his experiences in Mauthausen and Ebensee from June 1944 until liberation.
