Description: Consists of documents obtained by Eugene Bartenstein while in Germany in 1945 as a member of the United States Army. Includes instructions for "Führerpost," a German mother's certificate, a certificate from Hitler congratulating a couple on their fiftieth anniversary, and correspondence between the mayor of Salzburg and officials in Berlin regarding additional funds to repair the city after the 1944 bombings.
