    Description
    Contains photographs and oral history transcripts related to the pre-war and wartime experiences of Julius Shudmak (1913-1992) and his wife Esther Shudmak (born Eva Bittman, 1927-2020). Includes one large pre-war photograph of the Shudmak family, originally of Poland; most of the family perished in the Holocaust. Also contains copyprints of photographs of the Bittman family, originally of Rakhiv, Czechoslovakia (Rakhiv, Ukraine). The photographs include descriptions on verso provided by the donor. Also included are transcripts of oral history interviews with Julius and Esther Shudmak as part of the Youngstown State University Oral History Project.
